Workshop for doctors from Kazakhstan: visits to clinics, rehabilitation centers, and thermal resorts

In the period of October 12 to 25, 2025, with the technical assistance of the Consulate General of Turkey in Almaty and Turkish Airlines, we organized and conducted a Study Tour for doctors and surgeons from various medical organizations in Kazakhstan to study the experience of Turkish medical organizations in providing medical care and rehabilitation. The tour included a program of visits to leading medical hospitals and clinics, rehabilitation centers, and thermal spas in Turkey.

Tour program

Visit to medical facilities in 8 cities in Turkey.
Study of the experience of various Turkish hospitals and clinics in diagnostics, treatment, and rehabilitation using thermal spas.
Visit to the Medicana Hospital — Medicana Health Group network. Presentations by leading hospital specialists in oncology, urology, cardiology, and neurology. Tour of two Medicana Health Group hospital complexes in Istanbul.
Meeting with the management of Atlas University in Istanbul and the University Hospital.
Visit to the Acibadem Altunizade Hospital — Acibadem Health Group network.
Meeting with the management of Yeditepe University in Istanbul and the University Hospital.
Visit to the Istanbul Medical Thermal complex. Demonstration of treatment and rehabilitation options using natural mud, mineral, and thermal water; unique robotic systems to restore patients' motor function.
Visit to Afyon University and the University Hospital.
Visit to the unique Doruk Nilüfer Medical Clinical Complex and Rehabilitation Center in Bursa with its own thermal mineral water source.
Visit to KORU Hospital in Ankara.
Meeting with the leadership of Kirşehir Municipality, Kirşehir University, the rehabilitation center and the Big Thermal Complex.
Visit to the PAM Thermal Hotel Clinic & Spa and the Nobel Thermal Center physiotherapy and rehabilitation center in Pamukkale.
