Austrian training tour for confectioners

In the period from February 21 to March 1, 2012, we conducted a specialized training tour in the Republic of Austria for managers and specialists of companies producing flour confectionery products. Representatives of companies took part in this tour from: Petropavlovsk, Karaganda, Shymkent, Astana, Almaty, Bishkek, Atyrau.

As part of this tour, participants were invited to visit a number of Austrian companies, in particular:


The HAAS concern, which produces equipment for the production of various types of waffles and cookies; the well-known Austrian company "Backaldrin", which produces various mixtures for the production of confectionery products. Based on this the company held a master class on the production technology of various confectionery products;

The Vienna Culinary Institute GAFA, which trains chefs and confectioners to work in restaurants and catering establishments. The teaching staff of this institute held a master class on production technology several types of cakes, pies, and famous Austrian crumpets;

The company "Wewalka", a major manufacturer of frozen dough for further use in the preparation of various types of flour confectionery and pizza,

The confectionery factory "Zotter", which produces various types of chocolate products, where the participants of the tour got acquainted with the process of production and sale of the company's products.

The confectionery company "Schwindhackl", which produces chocolate confectionery and flour confectionery. The participants of the tour got acquainted with the production technology of apple truffles and several types of flour products confectionery products;

The Austrian bakeries "Zum Baeck", "Maria Rudolf", " Aloisia”, located on the territory of Styria, where the group not only visited the production workshops and got acquainted with the production of various confectionery products, but also accepted active participation in specialized master classes organized on the database of bakeries;

The farmyard “Sommersguter Maierhofer", which produces dairy products of the highest quality and awarded the highest European awards and produces the famous rye bread. The group also took part in a specialized master class on the production of famous Austrian buns, organized on the basis of this peasant yard;

In the pension "Romerhof" for the participants of this tour, a master class was held on the production technology of several types of cakes and the famous Viennese cake " Sacher»;

The largest Austrian manufacturer of bakery and confectionery products "Der Mann" with a developed numerous network of its own stores. The participants visited the company's production facilities and got acquainted with the process production of various flour products.
